Suzuki Cello Group Class

A fun & interactive group ensemble specifically for cello students!

What is the Suzuki Cello Group Class?

What is it?

This class is for students who are currently at the Suzuki Cello Book 1 – 3 level.

Group classes are an interactive, relationship building opportunity to enhance a young musician’s private lessons. As such, students are required to be taking private cello lessons concurrently (either at CMC or elsewhere).

The cello book 1-3 group class will help students explore their musical creativity, develop ensemble skills, review repertoire and broaden their theoretical knowledge. Games, challenges, fun new music and more!

When is it?

The class is 45 minutes long and takes place weekly on Tuesdays at 6:00pm.

The course runs from September to June for a total of 30 classes.

Registration in this course also includes performances at CMC’s winter recital (December 7th, 2025) and spring recital (Sunday, June 7th, 2026).

We are hoping to do some community outreach performances as well this coming year – TBC!
