Lindsay Foote has been studying piano and voice since the age of 7. Originally from Boston, she graduated from the University of Toronto in 2014, where she studied voice with renowned vocal coach Elizabeth McDonald. Since graduating she has worked as a music educator at Regent Park School of Music, Florivox Choir, and the Toronto Children’s Chorus.
On top of her teaching experience, Lindsay is a dedicated singer-songwriter and performer. She performs regularly in Toronto, both solo and in a folk duo. She is currently working on her first full album titled From the Blue, which was released in October 2015. Lindsay is versatile in many genres of music, and encourages her students to explore different styles. She strives to incorporate the musical interests of her students into their lessons. Lindsay is a nurturing and dedicated teacher who inspires her students both to try new things and achieve their musical goals.
Lindsay is excited to be joining the CMC faculty and looks forward to working with her students there!
