Soli Joy - Sing With Soli

Soli has been leading children in song since 2003, when she first combined her experience of performing to young audiences with a love of music to come up with a program all her own. Traditional songs are mixed with originals, puppetry and props mingle with interactive storytelling, and movement and the exploration of percussion instruments make learning part of having fun with music. Soli works with children ranging 3 months to 5 years, bringing her program to community and child care centres, libraries and private groups around the city.

Born in Stockholm, Sweden, Soli trained there as an actor and began performing children’s theatre, before moving to Toronto in 2000. Her creative partnership with musician husband Rob Joy has resulted in hundreds of musical concerts, three albums and four original musicals, most recently “Bungalow Bugs”. To find out more about Soli & Rob and puppet mascot Alistair Ant, visit Soli, Rob and their three daughters live in the Roncesvalles area, and hope to see you in the neighbourhood!
