Jordan Welbourne is a professional musician, music educator, clinician and composer from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Currently awaiting convocation from the University of Saskatchewan, Jordan has extensively studied vocals under Dr. Garry Gable, while privately honing his skills as an electric guitar player and bassist. Jordan has also studied guitar with recent Juno Award winning jazz guitarist Mike Rud. 

In addition to his studies as an instrumentalist, Jordan has studied jazz theory, improvisation, composition and pedagogy with Western Canadian Music Award recipient Dean McNeill, and composition and orchestration with Juno Award nominee Neil Currie. Jordan has been performing as a blues-rock act since September 2015. His successes with his solo act include notable performances with Pop Evil, Red Sun Rising, Econoline Crush, and Five Alarm Funk, 6 Western Canadian tours and numerous festival performances. Jordan's debut album "Reach Out" was released on April 29, 2016. The lead single from the album, Rattlesnake Jake, received national radio play on commercial, CBC and college radio stations. 

Jordan has worked as a music educator for the past 5 years, predominantly out of Saskatoon. Mostly teaching guitar, bass and voice, Jordan has also given clinics on music theory, jazz pedagogy, and improvisation. Jordan has also directed week long "Rock School" music camps which emphasized skills needed in order for students to have success playing in bands.
